Geekin and Brunchin

Hey guys!

Happy October! Time for sweater shopping, apple picking, and Halloween costume brainstorming sessions. It is great adding these fall activities into my regular routines, like BRUNCH. Anyone that knows me knows I am a brunch fiend, and proud of it! Looking through Instagram early summer, I stumbled upon the Instagram page "Geek Girl Brunch" yes "Geek Girl Brunch". Geek Girl Brunch is based in NYC, it is an awesome group that meets once a month, with a new theme and a new place where geek girls like myself can meet up with a mimosa and talk all things geek.  Geek Girl Brunch was created last summer by fellow fashion/geek bloggers: Jamila of Girl Gone Geek, Yissel of Fashionplusgeekery.com, and Rachel of DarthRachel.

The theme two weeks ago was retro video games, we met up at Barcade over in Williamsburg. I was stoked to be able to play Pac Man, Double Dragon, and Frogger! Add a burbon cocktail and clam pizza I was in HEAVEN! Here are a few snaps!

I met so many amazing women at Geek Girl Brunch! I can't wait for next Saturday's event: Fan Girls Night Out.  It will be after Saturday's NY Comic Con, at Latitude Bar and Grill in NYC. Ladies if you are not able to go to comic con, then come to this event $10 at the door, dress up and connect with geek girls and guys :)
