Architecture and Innovation- Denibi Spring 2018

Denibi's Spring 2018 collection screams clean and crisp! The brand mixes the aesthetics of Spain with African heritage, with minimalistic flair. The Spring-Summer collection featured monochromatic looks with structured fabric pairings that mixed shades and textures for classic tones such as camel, white, and navy.

Despite the collection being handmade in Spain, Fadel Denibi must know a few NYC gals! He had a handful of BLACK on the runway. He also must be a geek, I was LIVING for the handbag collection, that had a hint of geek inspiration using muted colors to highlight the hardware of the handbag.

I attended the show with Victoria who had her trusty camera, it was HOT AF! A time in NYC when everyone has the same question "What to wear?" esp when global warming is a foot. So I did a more casual dress look:

My formula to combat the random 90 degree days is to pair a dressy bottom with a casual top, it's comfortable and realistic with my lifestyle at the moment.  Not the fur coats I saw at a few shows this past NYFW when it was a heatwave.... Practical, Comfortable, Chic, and Realistic is the name of the game!  Denibi's collection was just that as well!
