Blazer's Edge

Blazers are usually the staple for a work meeting, but the look is best dressed down IMO.  Add in a killer heel, a white tee and voila: THE WEEKEND OUTFIT!  I partnered with TOBI to try their latest collection.  What is best about TOBI is that they understand the 2017 woman is all about having a tight wardrobe as we are too busy traveling, donating to causes, and being the ultimate boss!

It's professional enough to get the job done but can be a conversation piece at 5pm happy hour.  I loved pairing it with my favorite pair of ripped jeans.  A great transition to the Fall season!

Summer Friday's for me are usually about running errands and meeting with potential clients (being a PR gal and all).  Since my friend's tell me plans at the last minute, I make it a point to wear outfits that are comfortable enough to run errands yet appropriate for a rooftop happy hour, slip dresses such as the one I am wearing from Asos are fantastic for that!  This amazing denim jacket purchased at The Vintage Twin is killer, I love the wash as it is great for summer and fall! As I get older I want LESS items in my closet, so having three denim jackets three different shades doesn't really excite me anymore.

When I brought the jacket it reminded me of a 70s vibe, don't ask me why.  Maybe it’s because I’ve been listening to loads of Hendrix and The Stone’s “Exile on Mainstreet”. I like dancing in my front of the mirror giving my best Hendrix air guitar.

It's the first outfit post in a while, I'm doing much more this summer! Thanks Simone for the rad shots!

Double Denim

I spent last Friday day running all around town but still managed to squeeze in a few photos! I’m obsessed with the denim on denim trend, you can never go wrong with The Gap. YUP, the denim shirt and pencil skirt are from The Gap, they do denim the best!

Since it was hot as (you know what) on Friday, I paired the combo with my favorite bikini top from Mara Hoffman.  The new edition to my necklace collection is from Brooklyn based brand, J. Topolski

It was rad experimenting with this outfit, I plan to take more risks in the future.  Lately, I’ve been experimenting, working on a lot of different projects, all a blast to be doing (duh, right). I’m still trying to wrap my head around things, and I'm making more of an effort to take my time with everything as a friend mentioned earlier last week. One thing is for sure, I am out of my comfort zone, and passion is the driving force for that.

The fall season will be here in a month or so... depending on if Mother Nature is happy or not. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to: leather, scarfs, velvet, beanies, and jackets! I seriously can't wait..more items to layer and experiment with!
