I feel like a complete hippie in this little vintage dress, is that weird? Especially since I have the garment district as the background? lol City Hippie guess that was my look, an dress paired with motorcycle boots! I picked up this baby at Loveday31 and fell even deeper in love with it this past Friday.   The print inspired me to crank up Jimi Hendrix on pandora for the day and the fringe sleeves remind me of something from a Stevie Nicks video. Mixing old and new is too much fun and I just can't get enough of it!

Dress Shoutout

Hey everyone!

 Happy Monday and April fools! The next few weeks for me will be filled with market appointments back to back my full time job, so I wanted to give a quick shoutout to my Prabal Gurung For Target® Nolita Shirt Dress. This dress has been getting me through a lot of appointments: it's comfortable, modern, and the print is SICK!

I added my own twist to the dress by adding a statement necklace, fishnet tights, and my Rag & Bone pumps



I have been slowly getting into wearing more color, it's been a work in progress lol!

Bright blue skies+ sun= Spring! Spring like weather dominated this past weekend ironically when daylight savings time kicked in! Brooklynites like myself were out and about soaking in the beautiful weather as you can see. 

 I always considered myself a tomboy ever since I was a kid, girls would like sundresses, I would like overalls, comic books, and Batman cartoons! I have been obsessing over this "Pretty Tomboy" shirt for weeks now and decided to get it. I balance my tomboy style with a vegan legging, ankle boots, and a minimalistic clutch.  I have been using this clutch from Phillip Noel for a few weeks now and it is becoming a staple in my wardrobe!

 The tease of spring weather this past weekend has been so amazing for my creativity. There are so many projects coming up it's a very exciting time for me, cheers to spring!
