If you are living under a rock, many have seen the newest Star Wars trailer online or before Avengers Age of Ultron. How rad was it!? December 18th is seven months away and Star Wars fever is already upon us!

May 4th is Star Wars Day also my niece Akua's birthday. She is a Star Wars fanatic hence the name of her blog "A Stylish Jedi". Happy Birthday Qui! To celebrate Star Wars day, UGG announced a series of limited edition Star Wars designs being sold TODAY! Yeah boy boots for the whole family!

The collection is on sale for $100 to $225, it features eight styles inspired by Darth Vader. Each design, has a signature red symbol from the films associated with the Empire and the Dark Side and will be available at select stores. The styles also feature a custom tag featuring Star Wars quotes, storyboard tissue-paper packaging and a special-edition box.

Not digging Darth Vader designs? UGG has you covered later in the year with more additions. Hmm wonder who it would be? R2-D2 perhaps? I'm thinking it will be C-3P0, gold and the holiday season always go hand and hand!

Happy Friday! What a busy week as you can see this is my first post of the week, wow! TGIF indeed! I am excited to unwind in a few hours, head to the gym, catch up with friends, and attend this event: Lightsaber Battle 2014 presented by Newmindspace.

They had an event like this 2 years ago that was all over Time Out NY, NY1. When I saw they were producing another event August 9th, there was no way I could miss out this year. Being an extreme Star Wars fan, I am debating if I want to be a Jedi or go to the dark side... I will probably flip a coin once I arrive at Washington Square ha ha.

Any readers in NYC you can still purchase tickets with this link. For every $10 you contribute, Newmindspace will reserve one lightsaber for you. Each lightsaber changes up to 6 colors is about 3' long. You will walk up to a big truck full of lightsabers, say your name, and they will give you the sabers. It's a fun alternative for a summer Saturday night to let your hair down, be a kid again, and don't take yourself so seriously!
